As a mother, I have also experienced first-hand how limited childcare options can make attending events difficult, or simply not possible.
What stood out to me most was the impact this has. Events are built around people. Who is in the room, the conversations that happen, and the connections that are made. When childcare is not part of the plan, the right people are not always able to be there.
